Will the print I receive in the mail look like the photo I see on the screen?

1. Internet Resolution vs. Print Resolution

Our prints have far superior resolution and image quality than the image you see on your monitor. That's because the images you're viewing on the site are low resolution representations of the larger images Ken Shelton Photography uses for printing. We use low resolution files on the website as proofs to keep the download speed at an optimal rate while you view, share, and order prints of the photos.

We create your print from high resolution files.

2. What about cropping?

In order to print images in various sizes, the image you see on the screen must sometimes be cropped. We always do our best to crop the image to center you in the image. Here is how cropping works for various print sizes:

3. What Kind of Photo Paper do you use for prints?

All of our prints are professionally reproduced at our in-house photo lab on Kodak Professional Endura Paper - perfect for sharing with friends and family. They are sharpened, color-corrected and adjusted for optimum quality.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of receipt and receive a replacement order or a full refund. (Note: We only require that you return the item if you are requesting a full refund, less shipping) We will pay for shipping costs if the replacement order is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or damaged product). If the product was not damaged, defective or ordered incorrectly on our account, you are responsible for all shipping charges on the replacement order. If you are inquiring about your order after the 30 day marker you will be charged all fees for replacement. To return your item(s) please pack them in the original tube or box and be sure to include a letter specifying the reason for the return along with your original order number.
