2012 USA Bobsled & Skeleton Team Trials 10.20.12 -

Every photo purchased from this event is individually adjusted for best quality before delivery.

Night photography at the Mount Van Hoevenberg course outside Lake Placid is very much a lemons-lemonade sort of situation. Even the bright spots are dark, making it necessary to push cameras to their limits and accepting the rough images that result. The night-time bobsled trials are presented in black and white, with the roughness of the images accentuated. A little something different.

Photos from the second runs of the Oct. 24 skeleton were deliberately shot at an unusually slow shutter speed to accentuate the speed and movement of the athletes. The motion blur in those frames is intentional.

If you are interested in one of the digital delivery packages, please send a list of the file numbers of those photos to wordwizrd@aol.com. Your photos will be assigned a bib number. You'll receive return email telling you when it is possible to order. At that time, use the bib sorter on the shopping cart opening page to enter your file number and start the order process.

A portion of photo sales revenue from this event will be donated to support USA Bobsled & Skeleton programs..

Check out our coupon savings for orders totaling $50 or more. When you place an order of $50 or more, type in 5on50 when the shopping cart asks for a coupon code to receive a 5 percent discount.
